Short biography

Lue Xiang received his B.S. from the Wenzhou Medical University (WMU) School of Pharmacy in 2012 and M. S. from the WMU School of Ophthalmology & Optometry in 2015. Then he joined the lab as a technical staff.

He was also sponsored as a visiting scholar at Purdue University under Professor Y. F Leung's guidance in 2013.

Research interests

He is interested in combining chemical and genomic approaches to define epigenetic regulation of miRNAs in retinal maturation and function. And he seeks to identify new therapeutic prospects for retinal diseases, including retinitis pigmentosa, age-related macular degeneration and Stargart’s disease.
