Short biography

Shouren Shen is a fourth-grade student in the seven year-program of Ophthalmology & Optometry. From 2016 to present, he has been learning experiment techniques, knowledge of molecular biology and bioinformatics in the lab.

Research interests

His research interests focus on investigating genetic etiology and mechanisms of eye diseases, such as inherent retinal degeneration (IRD). Furthermore, he is also interested in bioinformatics analysis on the basis of animal models with IRD.
